The DDR2 is the evolution of DDR. It processes data rapidly, with higher bandwidth and lower consumption of energy in its primitive and therefore lower temperatures.
This can vary from 533 MHz, 667 MHz or 800 MHz (PC4200, PC5300 and PC6400 respectively).
Physically has 240-pin DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Module) for Desktops or Servers and Workstation 200-pin SODIMM (Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Module) for netbooks or notebooks.
